Community Participation & Access

Access The Community And Participate In What You Love To Do

We believe that social and community participation is about doing things that bring you joy,
helping you feel connected and safe in your community. Whether it’s meeting people who share
your interests, taking part in group activities, or trying something new, we’re here to help you
explore what excites you. Our services support community participation in the Central Coast
and Newcastle regions, enabling you to:
● Join activities you enjoy: Whether it’s visiting a café, joining a sports team, or helping
others in your community, we can assist you in participating in social and community life.
● Build relationships: Socialising with others can help you form friendships and feel like
you belong.
● Grow your independence: We encourage you to take part in activities that help you
gain confidence and learn new skills to do things on your own.
We understand that everyone has different preferences and goals, and our services are tailored
to your unique needs. Whether you’re on the autism spectrum, have an intellectual disability, or
are facing a psychosocial disability, we’ll work with you to make sure you’re engaging in
activities that are meaningful to you.
If your interests change or your health needs shift, we’ll be here to adjust the support you
receive, ensuring you stay connected with what you enjoy most. Our goal is to help you
participate in the community in ways that align with your personal goals and aspiration
